Bulk marking and other marks by a manager set the day's status without adding punches, so they do not appear here.
Statuses
A punch made in a browser is Accepted straight away, or refused with a message, for example when it is outside the work site and your rule set refuses such punches.
- Waiting for approval: the punch counts only after someone approves it in Approvals. Browser punches do not wait for approval.
- Rejected: someone rejected the punch in Approvals. It does not count.
- Void: the punch no longer counts, for example because a manager entered the day's times by hand.
Time and location
The time of a browser punch is the server's time when the punch arrives, not the phone's clock, so setting the phone's clock back does not make a late punch look on time. If the phone's clock was more than 5 minutes off, the punch keeps the server's time and is flagged "Phone clock differs from server time". Ask staff to keep automatic date and time on.
When a location was taken, the line shows the coordinates and the distance from the site. Flags such as outside the site or a missing location appear under the line.
