Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between Narayana Global Ventures Private Limited (we, us) and the business that creates an account (you). By creating an account or using X, you accept them.

The person who signs up must have the authority to accept these terms for the business.

X is web software to record staff attendance and leave, calculate payroll and statutory deductions, make payslips, and download registers and reports.

Some features are in early access and may change.

• We do not hold, move or pay money. You make salary payments outside X and only record them in it.
• We do not file returns or forms on any government portal. We calculate amounts and prepare data and files for you to file.
• We do not give legal, tax or labour law advice.

You are responsible for checking calculations, registers and payslips before you rely on them. We check statutory rates against official sources, but laws and rates change.

• Keep your password and your devices safe.
• You are responsible for what happens in your account, including actions by the admins you add.
• Give accurate details and keep them up to date.

You decide what data to record about your staff, and you are responsible for having a lawful reason to record it.

Before your staff use punch in, tell them that X records the time and location of each punch, and a photo if you turn photos on, and get any consent the law requires.

• Do not use X for anything unlawful.
• Do not use X to monitor people who have not been told about it.
• Do not try to break, overload or copy the service, or to reach other businesses' data.
• Do not resell X without our written agreement.

Plans and prices are shown on the pricing page. While X is in beta, plans without a published price are free.

When a plan has a price, you pay it in advance for the billing period you choose. The pricing page and your invoice show whether GST is included.

We may change prices. We will tell you before a new price applies to you, and it will apply from your next billing period.

Your business's data belongs to you. We use it only to provide X to you, to keep it secure and to meet legal duties.

You can ask us for a copy of your data while your account is active.

We work to keep X available and to back up data every night. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, especially during early access.

You can stop using X and ask us to delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, does not pay, or puts the service or other users at risk. Where we can, we will warn you first.

After an account is closed, we handle its data as the privacy policy says.

X is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profit, or for penalties for late filing or late payment.

As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.

The city whose courts will hear disputes will be stated here after legal review.

We will post changes on this page and update the date at the top. For important changes, we will tell you before they apply.
