Control who sees what
Owners decide what each admin can see and do. Here is how roles work, and how we protect the data in X.
Roles
Start with ready-made roles: owner, admin, branch manager, attendance manager, payroll manager, accountant and staff. Or build your own role from a list of permissions.

Branch access
Give a manager access to all branches or only to the ones you choose. They see staff and attendance for those branches only.
Salary and personal details
Salary, bank details, PAN and other sensitive fields are hidden from people whose role does not allow them. Where they are shown, account numbers are masked.
Active sessions
See the browsers where you are logged in, with the IP address and the last activity. Sign out any session you do not recognise.
How we protect data
These protections are running today.
- HTTPS on every page
- PAN and bank account numbers encrypted in our database
- Only the last 4 digits of Aadhaar stored
- Passwords stored as a one-way hash
- An activity log of changes to salary, attendance and payroll
- Limits on repeated password and code attempts
- No advertising or analytics cookies
What we do not claim
We do not hold an ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certificate today. We will say so here only when we do.
Questions
Who can see staff salaries?
The owner, and admins whose role includes salary access. Staff see only their own payslips.
What if I lose my phone?
Sign in from another device, open Active sessions and sign out the old session.
