Roles and security
Built-in and custom roles, branch-limited access, sensitive staff details, active sessions and signed-in phones.
- Built-in roles What the Owner, Admin, Branch manager, Attendance manager, Payroll manager, Accountant, Staff and Field staff roles can see and do.
- Create a custom role Build a role from exactly the permissions a person needs, such as a supervisor who marks attendance but cannot see salaries.
- Limit a member to some branches Give a manager access to only the branches they run, so they see and change only those staff, their attendance, leave and reports.
- Protect sensitive staff details How X stores PAN, Aadhaar and bank details, which roles can see or change them, and what other roles see instead.
- See and end active sessions See the browsers where you are logged in, sign out any you do not recognise, and suspend a member whose access should stop now.
