Muster roll
A month grid: one row per staff member, one column per day, with a status code in each cell.
The codes are: P present, A absent, HD half day, PL paid leave, UL unpaid leave, HPL half day plus half a day of paid leave, WO weekly off, H holiday, OD on duty, CO comp off, NM not marked. PL/NM is half a day of paid leave with the other half not marked yet; UL/NM and CO/NM are the same for unpaid leave and comp off. A star marks a late day. LT counts the late days. The legend under the table lists the codes, on the page and in the print view.
The totals at the end of each row count each code, plus late marks, overtime and the fines added by hand on the attendance page. An HPL day counts half in P and half in PL, as the pay run counts it: half a day worked and half a day of paid leave. A PL/NM day counts half in PL and half in NM (UL/NM in UL, CO/NM in CO). So the code totals of a row add up to the days shown. Fines from rule sets are worked out in the pay run, so they are in the wage register instead.
Attendance register
One section per staff member with each day of the month: the status code, In and Out times, hours Worked, Late, Early exit and Overtime, with Remarks. The same legend explains the codes.
Daily attendance
For one day, everyone's Status, Shift, In and Out times and Punches. Your home page shows today's version with a link to the full report.
Tips
- Run the month's muster roll before you start the pay run, to catch NM days.
- Long lists are split into pages. Use Staff per page, Previous page and Next page. Totals for everyone are in the print view and the downloaded files.
