Add statutory registrations
Record your PF establishment code, ESI employer code, PT, LWF and TAN registrations by branch and state, so payroll computes those items.
Payroll computes a statutory deduction only where your business is registered for it.
Add a registration
- Go to Statutory and find Add a registration.
- Choose the Registration: PF establishment code, ESI employer code, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, TAN (income tax), Shops and establishment or Factory licence.
- Enter the Number.
- Choose the Branch, or All branches.
- Choose the State.
- For Professional Tax in Tamil Nadu or Kerala, enter the Local body code. Tax there depends on the local body.
- Pick the date Registered on, then select Save.
You need the Set up payroll permission.
Check the result
The Registrations list shows each one with its branch. The card What payroll computes changes from Not registered to the item's real state.
Select Edit to correct a registration, or Delete to remove it.
