Plan the weekly roster
Set each staff member's shift or weekly off for each day of the week, leave cells on the default pattern, and copy a week to the next one.
On this page
The roster is a week grid: one row per staff member, one column per day.
Change a day
- Go to Roster.
- Use Previous week and Next week to find the week. Use Search staff to find people.
- In the person's cell for the day, choose a shift, Weekly off or No shift.
A cell left on Default follows the weekly pattern from the shift assignment and the weekly-off template.
Copy a week
Select Copy this week to next week. X confirms with "Week copied." Use it for rotating shifts that repeat.
You need the Edit the roster permission. People who can only View attendance see the roster without changing it.
Roster and attendance
Each day's attendance is measured against the shift in the roster. A weekly off in the roster makes that day a weekly off, even if the weekly-off template says otherwise.
